The Preakness Stakes, the second part of the Triple Crown is run in the area. The largest employer in the area is John Hopkins University and John Hopkins Hospital providing thousands of jobs. Bordering communities include Glen Burnie, Towson, and Pikesville. The primary newspaper of the Baltimore area is the Baltimore Sun. |
